“And many nations shall join themselves to the Lord in that day, and shall be my people. And I will dwell in your midst, and you shall know that the Lord of hosts has sent me to you.” (Zechariah 2:11)

“Then the King will say to those on his right, ’Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.’” (Matthew 25:34-36) Thank You Lord that you have prepared Bosniaks to enter your kingdom from the foundation of the world. May every believer in this nation do the good works (feeding the hungry; giving water to the thirsty; etc.) that you prepared in advance for them to do (Ephesians 2:10).

“He (Paul) proclaimed the kingdom of God and taught about the Lord Jesus Christ with all boldness and without hindrance.” (Acts 28:31) Just as the story of Acts ended with Paul living this verse out, we pray for many Bosniaks to come to faith this Ramadan, and also proclaim the kingdom of God. Would you remove any cultural hindrances that would keep Bosnians from receiving or sharing faith, and open doorways for the gospel to be proclaimed boldly!

“Some were tortured, refusing to accept release, so that they might rise again to a better life. Others suffered mocking and flogging, and even chains and imprisonment. They were stoned, they were sawn in two, they were killed with the sword.” (Hebrews 11:36-37) Give all believers in Bosnia perseverance in the face of persecution, family disputes or disownment, or cultural pressure. Comfort them by the great cloud of witnesses that have gone before them, witnesses like those described in these verses.

God, we pray that cultural Islam would keep no one from your Kingdom. Would the pressure of keeping the status quo or appearances of righteousness disappear in the light of your presence. Would you raise up people to question the norm and seek Truth. Would those who seek you find you. Amen.
