PRAISE
“Let the peoples praise you, O God; let all the peoples praise you!” (Psalm 67:3)
KINGDOM COME
“And Jesus said to his disciples, ‘Truly, I say to you, only with difficulty will a rich person enter the kingdom of heaven’” (Matthew 19:23). We know nothing can hinder the Lord from saving (1 Samuel 14:6), so Lord we ask You to be working in the hearts of those who seek wealth and material gain in Bosnia. We pray that whether Bosniaks have much or have little, that they would recognize the only thing of value is knowing Christ Jesus. May they joyfully turn and follow him, even if it means sacrificing their possessions or ambitions to do so.
PRAY THE BOOK OF ACTS
“Rather they had certain points of dispute with him about their own religion and about a certain Jesus, who was dead, but whom Paul asserted to be alive” (Acts 25:19). Jesus Christ is the center of our faith. Differences in Islam and Christianity largely hinge on who this man was. God, we pray that Bosniaks will have opportunities to read the Bible and discover the person of Jesus Christ. May their eyes be opened to the fact that this man was more than a prophet- he is the promised Messiah, the Son of God. May this truth change their lives and lead them to place their faith in him.
PRAY THE HALL OF FAITH
“By faith the walls of Jericho fell down after they had been encircled for seven days” (Hebrews 11:30). May every wall that separates from Christ fall down in the lives of the Bosniaks, so that they may be saved. May we faithfully continue to pray that you will do this, God, because we know that you hear our prayers and you are faithful.
PRAYER
Father, we pray that any barrier that may be separating Bosniaks from Jesus would be removed. We pray that your people who work among them will endure and patiently continue the work to which you called them. May they boldly proclaim that Jesus is the Son of God and the only way to salvation. We pray that in time, the truth about Jesus would be made known in the lives of Muslims throughout Bosnia, and that many would be saved. In Jesus’s name, Amen.
