PRAISE

“Bless our God, O peoples; let the sound of his praise be heard,” (Psalm 66:8)

KINGDOM COME

“But Jesus said, ‘Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven’” (Matthew 19:14). We pray that nothing would hinder true seekers in Bosnia from entering into Your Kingdom —not gender, age, socioeconomic status, nationality, community, family, or education level. We pray that you allow them to cast off these hindrances and fix their eyes on Jesus.

PRAY THE BOOK OF ACTS

“And looking intently at the council, Paul said, ’Brothers, I have lived my life before God in all good conscience up to this day.’” (Acts 23:1). There are believers in Bosnia who can testify to the goodness of God. May their lives, like Paul’s, be a testament to those around them of how God can change us from the inside out. We pray, God, that Bosniaks would see this difference in the lives of followers of Jesus, and may that spark conversations that lead to many coming to faith in Christ.

PRAY THE HALL OF FAITH

“By faith the people crossed the Red Sea as on dry land, but the Egyptians, when they attempted to do the same, were drowned” (Hebrews 11:29). We know, God, that you are a God of miracles. We pray that you might even work miracles among Bosniaks in Jesus’s name. We also pray for many Bosniaks to be stirred to read your Word and that they would discover all the wonders that you have done. May these miraculous works recorded in the Bible, the pinnacle of which being the resurrection of Jesus Christ, draw Bosniaks to faith in Jesus.

PRAYER

Father God, we know that sometimes there are things that may hinder someone from coming to you. There is an ethnic pride in Bosnia that may be a barrier to Bosniaks taking that step to place their faith in Jesus. We pray against these barriers- may Bosniaks see that while there may be negative consequences that come with associating with Jesus, he is worth following. May they see that the Kingdom of Jesus is like a treasure hidden in a field- one for which it is worth giving up all that we have. May you work miracles among them, and may they come to believe with certainty in the miracle that is salvation through faith in Jesus Christ.
